Renovation project of an existing house in the municipality of Telde.

Extension with an upper floor for living space above the existing garage.

The facade design focuses on the relationship between the upper floor, where the living space is located, and the lower floor, which houses the garage and other uses. The idea is to carve the facade as if it were a rock, while differentiating the two floors through their finishes.

The intention is to separate the ground floor from the upper floor with a spanning the entire facade, allowing light and ventilation into the open-plan garage, which can now be used for any activity.

The facade design defines the garage level as a solid element connected to the ground by a composite wood cladding, while the upper floor is defined as a light, white volume with carved openings that can be concealed by folding windows that control light and privacy, leaving the upper volume entirely white.
